Rana's personality is shining through in this picture.
Her broad smile reveals the hole in the front of her mouth where she lost a tooth while we were waiting for our delayed flight in Chicago. We had been encouraging her to wiggle it throughout our vacation and it finally came out the morning we left!
Rana's sporting four barrettes in her hair, which she loves to affix over and over again as she admires her handiwork in the mirror before proudly stating that it looks beautiful and seeking our affirmation.
On her wrist, Rana's wearing the rings to Mira's stack-able toy because it looks just like the bracelet that one of her favorite Arabic cartoon characters, Noor, wears. She's been pretending to be Noor for most of the afternoon and imagining situations in which her bracelet would light up like in the show.
And finally, Rana has carefully displayed her right hand so that her purple finger nail polish is clearly visible in the photo, a trend that was highly amusing as we looked at our family Christmas photos.
Gotta love her!
