Rana threw away her last two pacifiers a little over a week ago. She called them by their Arabic name, lahiya, and was definitely very attached to them, but she has done a great job without them, even at daycare. Another sure sign that she is a BIG girl!!
We went out for a big bowl of ice cream to celebrate this major accomplishment (which was decorated to resemble Maja the Bee, a popular German cartoon figure).
Rana looked especially grown up last weekend
when she decided to carry her purse through town!
