Mira is 1 Year & 8 Months Old!

Miss Mira has an affinity for wearing our clothes 

and we frequently find her frolicing through the 

house with our clothes draped over her shoulders, 

our socks and shoes on her feet, 

or our scarves and hats on her head.

She also gets quite a kick out of looking at herself 

in the mirror, particularly when she's dressed up

or we've just done her hair. Pretty girl!!

Rana is 6 Years & 8 Months Old!

Do you want to build a snowman?

Rana loves the movie "Frozen." 

She sings the songs, practices the dances, 

makes up stories featuring Elsa and Anna,

and, of course, calls her snowman Olaf. 

Quite fittingly, she aced her spelling test last week, 

which included words like:

ice, snow, snowman, build, freeze, and sled 

(Eis, Schnee, Schneemann, bauen, frieren und Schlitten).

It's Snowing Again!

It's snowing again -

and Mira actually likes playing in it 

(though you can't tell by her stoic look!)

We took her sled to daycare and she had a blast riding 

down the hill and being pulled around the playground. 

Rana + Mira + snow + sled = winter fun!

Brown Bear, What Do You See?

Uncle Colin and Aunt Lerae gave Rana and Mira books for Christmas, including "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See," one of Mira's favorite books at daycare.  We knew she liked it, but we were not aware of just how well she had mastered it!  She flips through it at rapid speed, chittering and chattering and making all of the appropriate animal noises and motions. 

 Thanks for such a perfect gift!
