A Weekend Tradition: Crepes

Baba and Rana have a long-standing tradition of
making crepes on Saturday or Sunday morning.

Rana knows the ingredients and is a good little helper.
She is also quite good at making a pot of our favorite spiced chai,
and knows just how many teabags, cinnamon sticks, cardamon
pods, cloves, and spoonfuls of sugar to add to the pot.

And now, Mira is joining in on the fun!

The End of the Baby Phase is Drawing Near...

Rana and I had a talk the other day about how much Mira has grown and how much she can do on her own now.  I commented that we have to make sure to savor the end of her baby phase, as it is slowly drawing to a close.  While our days of cuddling and rocking and feeding Mira bottles are numbered, we are thoroughly enjoying her transition into toddlerhood!  She loves to laugh and play and her curiosity for the world around her definitely keeps us on our toes!

 Our little Easter Bunny.

Mira has started to hold her own bottle!

She is a speedy crawler, so we installed gates in the stairway,
which have allowed her to move around the house more freely.

She often prefers to cruise along furniture and can take a few
steps on her own, so it won't be long before she is walking!

Go Mira!

Pretty!

Rana is working on growing out her hair and loves to style it,
so we've been trying out some of the tricks we learned in Saudi.

Mira is 10 Months Old!

She's showing more and more character,
saying, "Hi" and waving, and laughing lots!

And she loves swinging at the park.

Cuddles

Due to jetlag, time changes, and a slight fever,
Miss Mira has needed a few necessary cuddles this week.

Baba was happy to oblige!
